Revenue Cycle Specialist III (Professional Billing)

This role supports professional fee billing and collections under general supervision, following established revenue cycle management policies and guidelines. Duties include reviewing and submitting claims, performing account follow-up, updating patient account information, processing credits, posting payments, and account reconciliations.

Expertise in CS-Link and multi-specialty revenue cycle areas is required. Candidates should have knowledge of regulatory requirements, payor contracts, and Cedars-Sinai policies. The position involves researching and resolving complex cases independently and may serve as a technical resource or act in absence of leadership.

The role includes developing strong working relationships with clinical departments, patients, and external clients; responding to inquiries; recommending process improvements; maintaining current CPT and ICD-10 knowledge; managing billing issues; and collaborating in group problem-solving.

Approved remote work is available for selected states including California.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; college courses in Finance, Business, or Health Insurance preferred.
• Minimum 4 years professional or hospital revenue cycle billing experience, with a preference for professional billing.
• Experience in following up and appealing denied claims preferred.
• Physician billing experience.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office, Epic, and CS-Link preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy guidelines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
