Dental Billing Specialist

Siskiyou Community Health Center is seeking a Dental Billing Specialist to support access to care and help remove financial barriers for patients.

This role involves preparing and processing dental insurance claims (including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance), reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), resolving denials, posting payments accurately, monitoring accounts receivable, preparing patient statements, communicating reimbursement trends to leadership, and maintaining accurate and confidential records.

Work is entirely office-based with primarily weekdays and daytime hours, and occasional evenings or weekends.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of billing or related experience, knowledge of medical/dental billing practices, coding and terminology, strong computer skills, excellent organization and communication skills, and a commitment to professionalism and serving diverse populations.

High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with meeting clinic immunization requirements and passing a background check and drug screen.
