We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and comfort during dental procedures. You will work closely with our dental professionals, utilizing your expertise in patient education and preventive care to promote oral health.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, assessing patients' oral health.
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record-keeping.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Maintain accurate medical coding and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
  • Experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Licensed Dental Hygienist (valid state license)
  • Preferably some experience in a dental clinic
  • Knowledge of Dentrix or equivalent dental software
