Dentist - Advanced Practice

As a Dentist - Advanced Practice, you will provide comprehensive preventive and restorative dental services to patients of all ages, managing treatment plans under general dentistry scope. Duties include exams, x-rays, sealants, prophylaxis, scaling, restorations, extractions, dentures, crowns, endodontics, emergency dental services, patient education, and collaboration with medical personnel for integrated care.

You will document care in EMR with proper coding for billing, supervise and train dental hygienists and assistants, and assist new projects as assigned.

Must be licensed to practice Dentistry in Ohio and preferably have prior dental experience. Work independently as part of a diverse health team.

Physical demands include sitting, using hands, talking, hearing, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, occasional lifting of 25-50 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Work environment includes exposure to mechanical parts, weather, electrical risks, and moderate noise with potential high stress.

Requirements & Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited School of Dentistry approved by Ohio State Dental Board. Licensed to practice Dentistry in Ohio. Previous dental experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. Knowledge of dentistry principles and state/federal laws including HHS/HRSA regulations. Competent in culturally sensitive care and patient education. Physical ability to perform required tasks and handle equipment.
