Registered Dental Hygienist

Brighter Way Dental Center

Brighter Way Dental Center, a Phoenix-based nonprofit organization, seeks a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to provide preventive and periodontal care.

Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), periodontal therapy, sealants, fluoride application, localized antimicrobial delivery, administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (when certified), digital radiography including CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, patient education, infection control, and supporting office operations like insurance verification.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with dental and office teams, and community impact, especially serving underserved populations such as veterans and unhoused individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Dental Hygienist license required
  • Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 3+ years dental office experience preferred
  • Experience in implant dentistry, oral surgery, or specialty dental settings preferred
  • Strong implant terminology knowledge
  • Proficiency with Dentrix, Dental Intel, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and coding preferred
