Revenue Cycle CDM Consultant

As a Revenue Cycle - CDM Consultant, you will partner directly with healthcare customers to maintain and manage hospital chargemaster (CDM) and deliver expertise in chargemaster operations.

You will assume charge master role to support client resource needs, review departmental CDM requests for completeness and accuracy, create CDMs in accordance with hospital policies and Patient Accounting System requirements, and ensure appropriate entry of CDMs. You will communicate CDM irregularities, policy or compliance concerns, and participate in revenue cycle and CDM reviews.

Candidates must have 5-7 years of CDM maintenance experience, proficiency with EPIC, McKesson, Cerner, Meditech, Paragon, CPSI, GE, or Siemens systems, and hold CPC, COC, or CCS certification. Strong healthcare services knowledge, regulatory understanding, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities are required.

This position supports remote work within the US.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of CDM maintenance experience
  • Experience with financial and transaction processing systems (EPIC, McKesson, Cerner, Meditech, Paragon, CPSI, GE, Siemens)
  • CPC, COC or CCS certification
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and updating hospital CDM
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare services, health IT, regulatory requirements, clinical data management, and project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Craneware applications (Chargemaster Toolkit, Online Reference Toolkit, Supplies Assistant)
  • Commitment to superior customer satisfaction, high accountability, strong planning skills, and results-oriented
