Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and preventive hygiene procedures
- Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist in developing personalized treatment recommendations
- Support a positive and comfortable patient experience
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure high-quality care
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- Ability to perform patient care tasks including patient assessment, documentation review, and medical coding
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and medical imaging technology
- Knowledge of infection control protocols, HIPAA compliance, and aseptic techniques within a dental setting
