The Revenue Cycle Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations across key revenue cycle functions, including billing, collections, charge capture, and denial management in an orthopedic outpatient environment. This role ensures optimal financial performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while supporting Epic Professional Billing workflows.
Key duties include supervising revenue cycle staff, monitoring productivity and KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate claim submission, managing workflows within Epic, and partnering with coding and clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture and documentation. The role also involves overseeing denial management, root cause analysis, AR resolution strategies, and utilizing Epic PB tools for system optimization. Effective communication and collaboration with clinical operations and leadership are essential.
Qualifications require Epic Professional Billing experience, orthopedic outpatient revenue cycle experience, 3+ years supervisory experience, knowledge of outpatient coding (CPT, modifiers, ICD-10 basics), revenue integrity principles, denial management, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in high-volume outpatient orthopedic or specialty clinics, managed care familiarity, and a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.

- Epic Professional Billing (PB) experience - REQUIRED
- Orthopedic outpatient revenue cycle experience - REQUIRED
- 3+ years supervisory or management experience in revenue cycle
- Working knowledge of outpatient coding (CPT, modifiers, ICD-10 basics)
