- Update and maintain client’s dental records
- Perform routine assistance to the dentist with simple and complex dental procedures
- Take and process X-rays of patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Take billing and insurance details from patients
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
- Use appropriate dental terminology for patient needs
- Check and verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Qualifications:
- Core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and general dentistry
- Experience with 3D scanners and knowledge of aseptic technique
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
- Skilled in Dentrix and HIPAA compliance
- Relevant skills in medical documentation and pediatric dentistry
