As a Revenue Cycle Specialist at Cala Health, you will serve as a professional representative of the organization, working remotely to review documentation for medical necessity and submission. Responsibilities include timely communication with clients, insurance, and patients; reviewing patient documentation; managing and approving sales orders; billing claims or invoices electronically or by paper; monitoring patient billing modules; collaborating across departments to identify risks and performance improvements; supporting new business models; and adhering to company policies.
Candidates need excellent communication and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft and Google products, and ability to plan and multitask independently.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business or Finance preferred; high school or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of DME accounts receivable billing experience, Medicare experience desired
- Experience with Brightree and Salesforce software preferred
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Detail oriented with ability to plan, organize, and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
