This position requires up to 60% travel and is a work-from-home role, provided the candidate is within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital in one of several specified states including Virginia.
As a Revenue Integrity Charge Review Analyst with Parallon, part of HCA Healthcare, you will be responsible for identifying variations in hospital charge data, monitoring reports to detect billing issues, reviewing denials for opportunities, and liaising between different hospital departments to optimize revenue integrity.
Responsibilities include reviewing charging, coding, and clinical documentation, collaborating during Meditech Expanse implementation, performing detailed charge audits, developing and monitoring chargemaster practices, providing education on coding and charging standards, staying current with regulatory guidance and CMS updates, and supporting special projects.
Qualifications require an Associate Degree or higher, or a healthcare license/certification, with at least one year of related healthcare or coding experience. Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes and certifications like RHIT, CCS, CCP, CPC, LPN, LVN, RT, PT or AHIMA coding credentials are preferred.
