The Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst ensures the completeness and accuracy of revenue across surgical hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, covering the revenue cycle from pre-operative charge capture through payment reconciliation. Responsibilities include charge-to-schedule reconciliation, chargemaster management, implant and device charge audits, payer contract validation, payment variance analysis, denial root cause investigation, revenue leakage remediation, and collaboration with clinical and revenue cycle teams. This role supports the use of AI and automation tools for charge capture and denial prevention, and presents findings to leadership.
Bachelor's degree in health administration, health information management, finance, business, or related field. 3-5 years progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience with charge capture, chargemaster management, coding, revenue integrity, or payment variance resolution. Experience in hospital or ambulatory surgical center surgical billing. Preferred certifications: CHRI, CRIP, CPC, CCS, CRCR. Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM/PCS, revenue codes, NCCI edits, Medicare reimbursement. Proficiency with hospital EHR/practice management systems. Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience with surgical billing for spine, orthopedic, cardiac, bariatric. Familiarity with contract management and payer modeling tools. SQL or equivalent query skills. Experience with AI/automation tools in revenue cycle.
