Duties include:

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings including scaling and polishing
Conduct patient assessments, document medical histories and dental conditions in EMR
Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Operate dental radiography equipment following safety protocols
Maintain infection control standards and instrument sterilization
Review medical records for accuracy, coding, and treatment plans
Provide chairside assisting to support efficient workflow

Qualifications:

Valid Dental Hygienist license with current state certification
Experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry preferred
Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix
Knowledge of dental and medical terminology, anatomy, infection control
Experience with imaging and vital signs monitoring
Strong patient communication skills across all age groups
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management
Ability to work efficiently in a team using aseptic techniques

Competitive hourly pay at $65/hour. Work location is in person in Fishkill, NY.
