Dental Hygienist

Duties include:

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings including scaling and polishing
  • Conduct patient assessments, document medical histories and dental conditions in EMR
  • Assist dentists using four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Operate dental radiography equipment following safety protocols
  • Maintain infection control standards and instrument sterilization
  • Review medical records for accuracy, coding, and treatment plans
  • Provide chairside assisting to support efficient workflow

Qualifications:

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license with current state certification
  • Experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry preferred
  • Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix
  • Knowledge of dental and medical terminology, anatomy, infection control
  • Experience with imaging and vital signs monitoring
  • Strong patient communication skills across all age groups
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team using aseptic techniques

Competitive hourly pay at $65/hour. Work location is in person in Fishkill, NY.

Requirements & Qualifications
