Join Our Visionary Team – Optometrist Wanted
We’re searching for a skilled, driven, and patient-focused Optometrist to join our locally owned practice—not a corporate office, not an ophthalmology group. You won’t be crammed into a schedule seeing 30+ patients a day like in those settings. Here, you’ll average a balanced 15 patients per day, giving you the time to actually care for your patients, not just rush through exams.
This role is ideal for someone who delivers efficient, high-quality care while also understanding how to support the business side of a successful clinic. We want a true team player—someone who’s confident in their clinical skills, codes accurately for medical optometry, and contributes to a smooth, service-first environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform thorough, unrushed comprehensive eye exams and manage a variety of ocular conditions
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide personalized visual solutions
- Educate patients on preventive eye care and long-term vision health
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant medical records
- Collaborate closely with support staff to deliver seamless, efficient care
- Stay current with new technologies, treatments, and standards in optometry
- Assist in eyewear recommendations to help patients leave happy and confident
What We’re Looking For:
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from an accredited program
- Strong clinical knowledge in ocular anatomy, physiology, and terminology
- Comfortable seeing pediatric patients (experience is a plus)
- Proficient in medical optometry coding and billing
- Detail-oriented, organized, and HIPAA-compliant
- Business-aware and able to deliver high-level customer service
- Background in optical sales or healthcare customer service is a plus
Why Join Us? Because we respect your skill, your time, and your purpose. This isn’t corporate optometry or ophthalmology. We built this practice to focus on quality over quantity, real patient relationships, and professional satisfaction. If you want to do your best work without being buried in volume, apply now.
