Optometrist

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests for patients

• Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases

• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage patients' overall eye health

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry and new treatment options

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school

• Valid state license to practice optometry

• Strong knowledge of optical systems and equipment

• Proficient in medical coding and billing procedures

• Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols

• Excellent patient care skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
