NHC Place Trace is seeking a Health Information Management (Medical Records) Assistant to support the Health Information Technician/Practitioner with clerical and medical record keeping duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Determining additional admission data needs and obtaining missing information
- Checking the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for completeness, accuracy, and consistency upon admission and regularly
- Assisting medical staff and health personnel with updating the EHR
- Maintaining flow and quality assurance of scanned reports into EHR
- Ensuring discharged patient records are complete and accurate within required timeframes
- Providing information for medical audits
- Controlling the release of information to authorized personnel
- Performing other duties as assigned
This position operates Monday-Friday with a pay rate of $17-$21 per hour.

- 1-3 years of experience in Health Information preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
