As an Associate General Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including diagnosing and treating dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and oral infections. You will perform routine dental exams, cleanings, preventive treatments, develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs, interpret diagnostic X-rays, and work closely with the dental team. Collaboration with specialists on complex cases and maintaining accurate patient records are integral parts of the role.
You will ensure compliance with regulations, stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuing education, communicate effectively with patients regarding treatments and post-operative care, address patient concerns professionally, adhere to infection control protocols, and uphold ethical clinical standards.
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school
- Previous experience in general dentistry practice preferred but not mandatory
- Strong clinical skills in general dentistry procedures
