This professional Nurse Practitioner role involves direct patient care with clinical oversight from Physicians, Site Medical Director, and/or Vice President of Clinical Affairs.
Requirements include graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program, a New Mexico Board of Nursing license with NP or Clinical Nurse Specialist/Family Practice certification or equivalent certification from the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners, DEA license, New Mexico Controlled Substance Registration, Medicare PIN and UPIN numbers, Medicaid Number, and BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of hire (ACLS if applicable). The position requires compliance with healthcare personnel testing and immunization requirements (TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella) and annual influenza vaccination.
Additional screening includes a criminal records check for the Checkerboard Area Health System.
