Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position at ECU Health Chowan (Edenton, NC) and ECU Health Bertie (Windsor, NC) Hospitals.

Full-time exempt role with a high starting salary of $300,000 plus up to $100,000 signing bonus. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 3 weeks on and 1 week off; urgent/emergent cases handled from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with call shared among CRNAs. The position involves patient evaluation, anesthesia planning and administration, monitoring, and post-operative care.

Duties include administration of anesthetics and pain medications, patient record maintenance, venous and arterial punctures, pre-anesthesia evaluation, mechanical ventilation, airway management, and communication with patients and families.

Candidates must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, licensed by the NC state board, with a minimum of 3+ years experience in high acuity or similar settings. Continued certification and education are required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) licensed in North Carolina. Certified by the NC state board of nursing. Minimum 3+ years experience administering anesthetics in high acuity or similar settings. Maintain certification and continuing education. Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills. Strong commitment to patient care and safety. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment.
