At Fast Pace Urgent Care, X-Ray Technologists provide essential clinical and administrative support for patient care under supervision of a Provider, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant. They ensure excellent patient service in a compassionate atmosphere, respond promptly to patient condition changes, and perform imaging duties.
Responsibilities include monitoring and tracking x-ray orders, assisting patients with positioning for diagnostic quality images, reviewing exam images for initial provider read, sending images to Radiology for over-read, labeling images correctly, ensuring proper technique and absence of artifacts, addressing minor maintenance of x-ray machines, maintaining equipment cleanliness to avoid cross contamination, distributing pregnancy waiver forms, triaging patients including vitals and clinical history, performing blood draws, injections, oral medications administration, monitoring radiation badges, and adhering to compliance and HIPAA regulations.
The role also involves welcoming and assisting new employees, fostering positive work relationships with staff and patients, and adhering to company core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality care, and friendliness.
Multiple experience and certification levels are defined, requiring ARRT and/or state licensure with current CPR certification. Experience levels range from 1+ year to over 7 years with increasing responsibilities including clinical duties and administrative tasks such as scheduling, ordering, and training. Additional skills in ortho-glass splinting, ultrasound procedures, and bracing fitting are beneficial.

- Current ARRT License (Registered Technologist) or appropriate State License for Full Scope or Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist
- Active, good standing, verifiable license
- CPR license required
- TB and IV Certification obtained within 60 days of employment if applicable
- Experience levels range from 1 year to 7+ years direct patient care as an RTR or Limited Scope
- Ability to comply with HIPAA and company compliance requirements
