Nephrologist

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nephrologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert care for patients with kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, electrolyte imbalances, and hypertension. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through comprehensive diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, managing inpatient and outpatient cases, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic and EMR, interpreting medical imaging studies like ultrasound and CT scans, performing procedures including dialysis access placement and renal biopsies, collaborating with other specialists, and participating in clinical research initiatives.

Skills required are extensive knowledge of nephrology, proficiency with EHR systems, experience with medical imaging relevant to renal assessment, skill in performing interventional procedures, understanding of hospital medicine and inpatient care, familiarity with HIPAA regulations, and excellent communication skills to effectively serve patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Compensation ranges from $271,433 to $365,595 annually.

Work Location: In person in Bishop, CA.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of nephrology principles, physiology, and disease management

  • Understanding of hospital medicine protocols and inpatient care
