Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to deliver specialized women’s health services within a patient-centered environment emphasizing comprehensive care. The ideal candidate possesses a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and dedication to improving women’s health outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments with a focus on women's health, providing preventive care including screenings and family planning, performing procedures such as Pap smears, colposcopies, IUD insertions/removals, collaborating with physicians on complex cases involving obstetrics and gynecology, managing follow-up care and referrals, maintaining accurate medical documentation in EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks while ensuring HIPAA compliance, and staying current with advancements in women’s health.

Requirements include a valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Women’s Health (WHNP certification preferred), proven experience in women’s health clinics or primary care with familiarity in obstetrics and gynecology procedures, proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth, knowledge of clinical research methodologies in women’s health (a plus), strong clinical skills including pelvic exams and medication administration, ability to confidently perform minor gynecologic procedures, excellent communication skills, and commitment to equitable care respecting diverse patient backgrounds.
