Primary Care Physician

We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians to provide on-site primary care services for veterans at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality primary care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary VA healthcare environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • No weekends or federal holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients
  • Manage chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart failure, etc.)
  • Perform preventive care, screenings, and health counseling
  • Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document care in the VA electronic health record system

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • DEA and NPI required
  • Must meet VA credentialing requirements
