We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians to provide on-site primary care services for veterans at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality primary care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary VA healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No weekends or federal holidays
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients
- Manage chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart failure, etc.)
- Perform preventive care, screenings, and health counseling
- Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
- Document care in the VA electronic health record system
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- DEA and NPI required
- Must meet VA credentialing requirements
