Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team. This is a long-term onsite opportunity in a modern, well-equipped outpatient clinical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities.
The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to a panel of approximately 1,000 general medicine patients, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes in an outpatient clinic setting.
Provide full-scope primary care services to a panel of approximately 1,000 general medicine patients, seeing up to 14 scheduled patients per day plus walk-ins. Conduct thorough history and physical examinations, and coordinate all aspects of patient care including evaluation, treatment, and follow-up. Order and interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and electrocardiographic examinations. Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice including abscess incision and drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, nasogastric tube insertion, joint aspiration and injection, and all ACLS procedures. Consult with specialists and coordinate referrals to ensure appropriate and timely patient care. Document all patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within 48 hours of the visit, selecting appropriate Evaluation and Management (E&M) codes. Participate in quality improvement activities, patient safety compliance and reporting, and weekly care team meetings.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice by the American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Medicine. Active, full and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Minnesota. Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or equivalency). Valid DEA registration. Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST. Full-time, onsite position (no remote/virtual option). Closed on federal holidays; no weekend or on-call requirements.
