Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team.
This long-term onsite opportunity is in a modern, well-equipped outpatient clinical environment prioritizing patient safety and quality of care.
Responsibilities include providing full-scope primary care to approximately 1,000 general medicine patients, seeing up to 14 scheduled patients per day plus walk-ins, conducting thorough history and physical exams, coordinating care, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, performing clinical procedures within scope (e.g., abscess incision and drainage, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, joint aspiration and injection, ACLS procedures), consulting with specialists, documenting encounters timely in the EHR with appropriate E&M codes, and participating in quality improvement and safety compliance.
Qualifications required are Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, full unrestricted Wisconsin medical license, current BLS and ACLS certifications, valid DEA registration, and completion of an accredited residency program. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment is essential.
The position has a Monday through Friday clinic schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST, is full-time and onsite with no remote option, closed on federal holidays with no weekend or on-call duties.
