The Staff Psychiatrist conducts psychiatric assessments, treatment, and clinical oversight for youth within assigned programs. This role participates in a multidisciplinary team valuing clinical excellence, innovation, diversity, and trauma-informed care.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Part or full-time (30-40 hours/week)
- Alternative part-time options available
- Flexible Monday–Friday schedule; 4 x 10 hr days available
- In-person office hours required
- Must reside in Oregon or Washington
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish DSM-5 and ICD-10 diagnoses
- Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams in treatment planning
- Lead clinical discussions and support quality client care
- Complete clinical documentation per agency and regulatory standards
- Coordinate care with medical specialists and allied health professionals
- Support program development, staff education, and clinical leadership initiatives
Qualifications:
- Completion of accredited Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
- Current Oregon medical license or eligibility
- DEA certification including Schedule II prescribing authority
