Oral Surgeon

Health Center Inc., also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds, is a NYC based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities providing a wide range of medical and diagnostic services free to Union members.

We are looking for an Oral Surgeon for our Midtown location to provide dental services to our Union members. This part-time position requires 17.5 hours per week, with no weekends or overnight shifts, and includes comprehensive health insurance benefits.

Duties include patient examination, treatment planning, collaboration with dental specialists, administration of anesthetics, performing surgical procedures such as tooth extractions, implants, tumor removals, maintaining patient records, prescribing medication, and patient preventative care instruction.

Candidate must hold DDS or DMD degree; medical degree is a plus, current NY State Dental License, 4-6 years residency training, board certification in oral surgery, BCLS certification, and meet requirements for medical staff appointment. Excellent communication, hand-eye coordination, calmness under pressure, and attention to detail are necessary.
