RejuvenX is seeking a Chiropractor to join their Port Charlotte clinic to care for patients with neuromusculoskeletal system injuries and impairments, focusing on spine, neck, and related joints and soft tissues.
Responsibilities include meeting patients to understand their health concerns, assessing physical conditions, ordering and interpreting tests, delivering hands-on treatments, and providing guidance on long-term care and pain management. The role requires thoroughness, attentiveness, confidence in treatment, and clear, compassionate communication.
Duties:
- Evaluate patients by taking histories and performing physical exams.
- Use diagnostic tools such as X-rays and MRI reports.
- Administer chiropractic treatments including spinal adjustments and soft tissue work.
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
- Document visits accurately in medical records.
- Stay updated with chiropractic care advances.
- Refer patients to medical providers when needed.
Requirements:
- Current, active Florida Chiropractic Physician license.
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries and treatment options.
- Understanding of therapeutic exercises and non-pharmacological pain approaches.
- Ability to assess patient conditions clinically.
- Commitment to patient-centered care.
- Experience with accident, sports injury, or rehab patient populations is a plus.
This is a full-time, in-person position scheduled Wednesday through Saturday with varying hours.
Background screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse required.
