Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) invites applications for the position of Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in its Special Delivery Unit (SDU), a unique pediatric hospital-based birthing facility focused on high-risk pregnancies involving fetal anomalies. The SDU offers integrated maternal and neonatal care with advanced resources, including cesarean and fetal surgery operating rooms, LDRP rooms, and infant stabilization rooms.
The RN role includes following the nursing process to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally effective care, participating in interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives. Nurses practice according to ANA Code of Ethics, applicable nursing standards, and within Nurse Practice Acts of PA/NJ.
Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum one year experience in Labor and Delivery nursing required; two years preferred
- Registered Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania or New Jersey required
- CPR certification required

- Technical Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
