Field Technician

On-Site Health & Safety

Join On-Site Health & Safety for a dynamic role as a Health & Safety Incident Response Technician. This position offers an alternative work week with 4 days of 10-hour shifts and includes paid training, comprehensive medical benefits, 401k plan, and on-call stipends.

Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance, providing first aid and incident reporting, performing health screenings, and drawing blood when certified. Field Technicians respond to various worksites such as construction and refineries and operate a company vehicle.

Candidates should have education or experience as EMT, Paramedic, LVN, Military Medic, or similar qualifications. Additional training as Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant is beneficial.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, insurable with a clean driving record, pass background checks, and comply with drug screening policies. The role requires excellent communication skills, physical stamina, and willingness to drive extensively.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education or experience as EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse credentials desirable
  • Additional in-house training such as Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Insurable with no severe driving violations
  • Pass criminal background check and drug screening
  • Ability to communicate effectively and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to operate motor vehicle for extended periods and distances
