Leidos QTC Medical Services, Inc., operating under the brand Leidos QTC Health Services, seeks a Nurse Practitioner residing in Wyoming and nearby states to provide healthcare for service members and veterans. This role involves various general medicine, occupational and disability health exams including reviewing medical history, interpreting clinical data, completing written reports and independent medical opinions. Exams may be in-person, at the examinee's home, telephonically, at large events or via telehealth. Travel constitutes 70% of duties across the nation with covered expenses and per diem. Work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day between 8am-5pm with some weekend/evening based on needs. The remaining 30% is telehealth and administrative work done remotely or at local clinics.
Essential duties include conducting physical exams, occupational health exams, disability benefit questionnaires, primary medical evaluations, diagnostic study interpretation, documentation, and collaboration with clinical staff. Competencies include compassion, professionalism, full physical exam capability, clinical decision-making, diagnostic review, and computer proficiency including EMR systems.
Required qualifications: Master's of Science in Nursing, national licensing with ANCC or AANP, minimum 3 years post-graduate primary care/internal medicine experience, unrestricted state licensure, ability to obtain DEA license, valid BLS or ACLS certification, governmental clearances, medical clearance including TB test and vaccinations.
Preferred qualifications: Experience with occupational/disability exams, Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN-S).
