Riverbend provides addiction recovery treatment, behavioral health services, and community re-entry services aimed at delivering professional and compassionate care. The Clinical Director will oversee all clinical operations at the Bradford House residential treatment program in Haverhill, MA, working collaboratively with executive leadership and other clinical directors to maintain best clinical practices.
Responsibilities include overseeing program staff, monitoring clinical services, ensuring adherence to licensing and quality standards, managing referrals and intakes, liaising with outside agencies, facilitating team meetings and supervision, auditing documentation in the EHR, following evidence-based treatment protocols, and maintaining safety and emergency response. The role also involves on-call responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
The Clinical Director supervises counselors, case managers, and medical staff, and collaborates on indirect reports such as Recovery Specialists and Interns.

- Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or Public Health
- Minimum five years of clinical experience in substance use and/or mental health fields
- At least one year of clinical leadership experience
- Current CPR certification
- Preferred licenses: LICSW, LMHC, LADCI, LMFT
- Strong organizational, training, time management, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Records
