Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

In this role, you will utilize your advanced clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage patient health needs, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans that promote optimal health outcomes. You will work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care in a family practice setting. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced clinical judgment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients across a broad spectrum of conditions, including preventive care, acute condition management, chronic disease management, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health.
  • Perform procedures including paps, vaginitis swabs, I&Ds, and foreign body removals.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters, diagnostic evaluations, and medical records management.

Experience:

  • Valid APRN or PA license. Experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is highly valued, but we are also open to new graduates with strong clinical experience.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems. Experience with Allscripts/Veradigm or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding and ICD coding for accurate documentation, billing processes, and quality measures.
