Join the team as a Medical Billing and Collections Representative and help resolve patient accounts quickly and respectfully. In this role, you will work with patients and insurance companies to support payment solutions, manage delinquent medical accounts, and contribute to a fast-paced healthcare revenue cycle environment.
You will also assist with payment arrangements, account disputes, re-billing, and skip tracing to locate missing payments while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Manage and resolve overdue medical accounts
- Assist patients with payment arrangements and disputes
- Re-bill insurance companies as needed
- Maintain accurate account records
- Collaborate with billing teams and insurance companies
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in call center/collections operations in a healthcare field
- Working knowledge of insurance collections, including verification and insurance follow-up
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet goals
- Experience with medical billing software is a plus
- Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to handle over 100 calls per day
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
