North Central Surgical Center is a highly successful, Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital located in Dallas, TX. The facility is a surgical-focused hospital performing over 12,000 procedures per year.

North Central is located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the NorthPark area. Specialties include orthopedics, spine, general surgery, pain management, urology, GI/endoscopy, plastic, and podiatry surgeries. The center is managed by United Surgical Partners International and is Joint Commission accredited.

This full-time Charge Auditor role is part of the Business Office Department. The position works across departments to ensure charges are properly noted, entered, and corrected as needed. Responsibilities include verifying implants, pretesting charges, PT/OT charges, case details, room charges, extended recovery charges, and blood charges, as well as communicating charge or billing issues to the business office manager. The role also helps maintain confidentiality and follow USPI internal control practices and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must be able to work an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift

Minimum two years of experience in charge entry or audit preferred

Strong communication skills with the ability to present information to patients, physicians, and other surgery center staff

Proficient in computers and relevant software applications

Strong customer service skills

Cerner experience preferred
