Maintains the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of health information for the HIM Medical Record Completion department.
Reviews and validates medical records and related documentation, investigates and resolves discrepancies, and corrects inaccurate or incomplete records. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support problem identification and resolution. Prepares reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
This is a full-time, dayshift role with 80 hours per pay period. The position is 100% remote, and eligible out-of-state candidates may be considered.
Associate's degree.
Training in medical terminology and human anatomy.
No required licensure or certification; RHIT certification through AHIMA is preferred.
Preferred medical experience background.
Must use critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
