Straub Benioff Medical Center in Honolulu is part of Hawaii Pacific Health and serves patients across Hawaiʻi through a hospital, neighborhood clinics, and a visiting specialist program. The Health Information Services team manages patient medical records and health information requests, supporting privacy, record maintenance, research, and reimbursement.
In this role, you will help maintain and protect patient records in accordance with Information Services standards. Duties include record assembly, record inventory, master patient index validation, assisting physicians with record completion, directing phone calls to appropriate parties, and helping with record requests as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- One year of clerical or health information services experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
