The ROI Specialist provides support at a specified client site for release of information requests related to patient medical records.
Responsibilities include reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, obtaining pertinent patient data from electronic, off-site, or physical records, answering phone calls about ROI issues, responding to walk-in customers, processing physician office requests, logging and scanning medical record requests in the ROI On-Line database, complying with site facility policies and regulations, and handling and recording cash payments when required.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications and at least one year of experience entering data into computer systems.

- Prior ROI experience in a physician's office or HIM department is a plus
