RN MDS Coordinator role in a skilled nursing facility focused on MDS assessments, reimbursement, compliance, and resident care quality.
You will lead the MDS process to ensure accurate and timely assessments for Medicare, Medicaid, and case management reimbursement. The role works closely with clinical and financial teams to optimize reimbursement and compliance, stays current on state and federal RAI reimbursement regulations, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans and accurate resident documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license or valid Compact State RN license
- Strong understanding of the Medicare, Medicaid, and case management reimbursement system
- Experience in skilled nursing facilities as an MDS Nurse preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to RAI and reimbursement
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
