Matrix Providers is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Medical/Surgical role supporting healthcare services for military service members and their families at Jacksonville Naval Hospital in Florida.
The position is full-time and hourly, with scheduled 12.5-hour service periods and rotating day/night shifts. The role includes direct patient care, coordination with clinical teams, documentation in MHS Genesis, and participation in quality improvement and training activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Graduate Diploma in Nursing, or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Certifications must be through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in the preceding 24 months in an adult and pediatric medical/surgical setting
Licensure
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
Additional Requirements
- Two letters of recommendation from practicing physicians or peers attesting to clinical skills
- Reference letters must include required contact and signature information and be written within the preceding 2 years
