Havenwood Academy is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN to join its medical team at a residential treatment center serving adolescent females with early childhood trauma.
This role works primarily evening and weekend hours and is approximately 30 hours per week with full-time benefits.
The nurse will support the physical and medical well-being of clients in a therapeutic residential setting, collaborating with clinical, residential, and administrative staff to support treatment plans and ensure safe, trauma-informed care.
Typical responsibilities include medication management, coordinating external medical appointments, maintaining accurate medical records, recording vitals and health metrics, and triaging acute medical needs in a JCAHO-accredited facility.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required; LPN also considered
- Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred
- Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, mental health, or residential treatment is a strong asset
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and TB test
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, professional boundaries, and trauma-informed care
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting
Compensation
- Starting hourly pay: $32.00 - $36.00 for RN
- Starting hourly pay: $25.00 - $29.00 for LPN
- Additional $10,000 pay bump, or hourly equivalent, after successful first month performance review
