Workit Health is seeking a full-time Medical Payment Poster (Payment Analyst) for a hybrid clinic role based in Albany, New York.
This role supports revenue cycle operations in a fast-paced telemedicine and addiction recovery environment. The position focuses on payment posting, remittance reconciliation, claim follow-up, and coordination with internal teams and external payers.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST. The role includes three days in the office and two days remote each week. The company also lists fully remote work among its benefits, suggesting remote flexibility may be available.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Minimum 1 year of current revenue cycle experience
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
- Understanding of insurance revenue cycle processes, including eligibility, claims, and payment posting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification is a plus
- Knowledge of government rules and regulations and potential fraud and abuse risk areas related to coding and documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and solve problems using personal knowledge and experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Must provide a high level of customer service and work well in a team environment
