As a Medical Assistant, you will support patients and healthcare providers in delivering effective pain management care. This role includes patient intake, clinical support, documentation, room preparation, and assisting with procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to quickly and accurately type notes into an EMR while the provider dictates
- Strong computer and phone skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks effectively and professionally
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance policies, including HIPAA
- Ability to help lift patients from a procedure table to a wheelchair and from a wheelchair to a car
- Regular and reliable attendance
- EMR, KASPER, and INSPECT knowledge and experience preferred
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Pain management experience preferred
