Full-time remote role supporting the revenue cycle and patient billing operations for a mental health practice serving Texas.
The specialist is responsible for managing outstanding patient balances, answering billing questions, collecting payment information, posting payments, handling refunds, and supporting other RCM tasks as needed. This position works closely with patients and internal teams to help ensure accurate, timely billing and a positive patient experience.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare office setting
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare billing
- Knowledge of insurance benefits and ability to explain them to patients
- Knowledge of EOB and ERA terminology
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the mental health field preferred
