At Serenity Smiles Miramar Beach, the team is focused on changing the way people receive dental care by providing convenient, affordable, patient-centered service. This role is part of a collaborative dental team that works together to create excellent patient experiences.
The Dental Assistant will play an integral role in daily patient care and clinical support in a fast-paced pediatric dental office. Responsibilities include assisting through procedures, room setup and breakdown, four-handed dentistry, sterilization, x-rays, suctioning, patient care, supply and inventory support, and opening and closing duties.
The office values teamwork, reliability, initiative, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. EFDA experience is preferred, but the practice is willing to train the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred; 1 year required per posting
- EFDA preferred
- X-Ray Certification required
- Experience with medical records, medical coding, CAD, patient assessment, Epic, and medical documentation is preferred
- Must be motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well on a team
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, technology-friendly environment
- Must be able to help in other areas besides assisting if needed
