Personal Physician Care is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join its fast-paced primary care clinical team. Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care
- Strong phlebotomy skills required
- Experience administering injections and taking vital signs
- Proficiency with EMR systems, eMedical or similar preferred
- Excellent computer and documentation skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medications
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume clinical environment
- Professional communication, strong customer service, and a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and team-oriented
- BLS certification preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Associate degree preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
- Experience with Surescripts preferred
- Knowledge of HEDIS, MRA coding, Wellness Visits, and Meaningful Use preferred
