Role Overview
The Field Reimbursement & Market Access Manager will lead reimbursement strategy and market access efforts for the AquaBeam Robotic System in a designated territory. This role is responsible for helping patients gain access to therapy and surgery, reducing reimbursement barriers for providers, and supporting Aquablation adoption across the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate and train hospitals and practices on coding, coverage, payment, and patient authorization rules, regulations, and processes.
- Organize and lead reimbursement education meetings for existing customers.
- Serve as the primary reimbursement resource for hospital and practice customers.
- Collaborate closely with field sales teams across the territory.
- Work with patients to understand insurance coverage and payer appeals processes.
- Collect, analyze, present, and discuss customer financial data during business reviews.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of medical device reimbursement and/or health economics experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. private payers and Medicare coverage and payment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing, conflict resolution, and creative problem solving.
- Excellent communication and education skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to present reimbursement strategies to physicians, office staff, hospital administrators, and key opinion leaders.
- Prior experience working collaboratively with field sales teams.
- Comfortable working virtually and using business virtual technologies.
- Ability to manage complex problems and projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Proximity to a major airport is preferred.
