Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Dental Assistant/RDA certification with current state licensure or registration as required by law
- Proven experience in dental assisting within general dentistry or pediatric dentistry
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation, and sterilization procedures
- Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures safely and in compliance with infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Understanding of anatomy relevant to oral surgery and endodontic procedures
- Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding for accurate documentation and billing
