Optometrist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, diagnose and treat visual disorders, and help ensure the overall health of patients' eyes. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Recent graduates of optometry are welcome to apply.

Duties

• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose eye diseases or conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or other treatments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and the importance of regular eye examinations.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and medical terminology relevant to the field.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Provide specialized care for pediatric patients as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for children.
• Engage in optical sales by recommending appropriate eyewear solutions based on patient needs.
• Have knowledge in myopia management using contact lenses, pharmaceuticals, lenses, or orthokeratology.
• Experience prescribing complex contact lens cases that need scleral contact lenses or piggyback lenses is a plus.
