We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the dental team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while helping provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include assisting the dentist and hygienist with patient care, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, providing oral hygiene instructions, maintaining patient records, performing clinical and administrative tasks, assisting with radiology and 3D scanner technology, supporting pediatric dentistry patients, and working with electronic health records systems.
• Dental assisting experience: 1 year required • Experience or willingness to learn pediatric dentistry • Proficiency with dental systems and software, including Epic • Strong understanding of dental receptionist duties and medical coding • Familiarity with X-ray technology and radiology procedures • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities • Commitment to aseptic technique and maintaining a clean, organized treatment environment • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dental team • X-Ray Certification preferred
